Currently freaking out over this

What I’m about to tell you about has been a total dream in the making for YEARS.

What happens when a nutritionist and a psychologist combine forces? You’re about to find out!

A little while ago I shared with you that I’ve teamed up with my best friend, Abi Owens, a talented functional nutritionist to the stars, to bring you our brand-new series: "Eat Your Way To Better Mental Health”, where we share healthy recipes that help us with Chronic Fatigue, insulin resistance, and PCOS.

I’m thrilled to share that our first episode is LIVE where we make my favorite recipe for a simple 5 ingredient lemon thyme shrub mocktail that’s not only delicious but also packed with mental health perks:

🍋Lemon is rich in vitamin C, which helps reduce stress, supports your immune system, and can boost your mood.

🌿Thyme contains thymol, a compound known for its calming effects, and is full of antioxidants that protect against inflammation.

🍯Honey has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that help protect brain cells from oxidative stress, supporting cognitive function and emotional balance.

🍎Apple Cider Vinegar helps keep blood sugar levels stable, which can prevent mood swings and maintain consistent energy throughout the day.

These ingredients work together to support both your mental and physical health. 💪

You’ve gotta understand that as a total foodie I have wanted to share recipes and cooking videos with you for ages, but I haven’t felt ready to do this until now, thanks to Abi’s encouragement, so I am FREAKING OUT and so excited!

The Recipe

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • Few sprigs of fresh thyme

  • 1/2 cup ACV

  • 1/2 cup lemon juice (approximately 2 lemons)

  • Sparkling water to taste

  1. Simmer honey and thyme over medium heat for 5 minutes until fragrant.

  2. Remove from heat and let it infuse longer for a stronger flavor if desired.

  3. Remove/strain out the thyme, then add lemon juice and ACV to make a vinegar shrub.

  4. Add a few spoonfuls of the shrub to a glass of ice (fancy glass optional) and top with sparkling water to taste.

  5. Garnish with more thyme and enjoy!

We hope you continue to join us on this journey where we eat our way to better mental health. 😍 Make sure to follow me @exploring.therapy and @thegoodnessguide to catch the episodes as soon as they drop. 😉
